Bellydance is one of the most ancient and evolved forms of dance in the world.
In this class you will learn traditional bellydance moves as well as zest and variety of exciting choreography. Step by step, you’ll be studying bellydance technique: sultry slow moves, layering,
percussive hip accents, pops, locks & shimmies. This class familiarizes the student with a multitude of Middle Eastern rhythms, and the many ways to dance. We also add more dynamic steps by using props like veils, wings, sword, fan veils and finger cymbals. Open up and express yourself through this beautiful dance! Be unique!
The moves have been specifically chosen to sculpt and strengthen the abs, waist, arms, legs and feet with an intensity that give you a complete aerobic workout. It’s a powerful way to lose weight because you
burn calories and fat while massaging and stimulating your digestive system, which increases your metabolism. Tone muscles and burn fat while learning sensuous bellydance moves!
Wear comfortable clothes, dancewear or skirt & bring a shawl or large scarf to wear on your hips.
Choreography available in styles of Baladi, Oriental, Saidi, using props: Veil, Wings, Fan Veils, Finger Cymbals, Sword, Saidi stick or cane.
